Yeah, we never thought we’d hear those words in the same sentence either, but it turns out Telstra are very much on the ball as far as trying to get the best out of social media channels for their business.
As a part of this effort they’ve been training up their staff in everything from the basics (‘what is Twitter’) to some of the legal and corporate responsibility aspects of SM.
To help with this, Telstra put together an interactive flash-based training guide, and have helpfully made it available online for anyone to see (right here).
It is a little bit hokey in places, but kudos to Telstra for making it public – there’s some good stuff in there that other companies undertaking a similar exercise should find useful.
